 “CHILDHOOD PLANET” is the largest children-oriented project in the North-West region of Russia, annually gathering over 8 000 visitors. Within 11 years of successful work this Trade Fair has turned into a real Family Holiday, very popular with city citizens.
The project traditionally consists of exposition, business program for field specialists and entertaining program for parents and children.
In 2012 the exposition will offer 3 specialized exhibitions:

“CHILDHOOD PLANET” – goods and services for children: toys and games, everything for the pregnant and newborns,  children’s literature, educational programs and software, furniture for nurseries, kindergartens and school classes, kids’ clothes and footwear, sport equipment.

“PEDIATRICS” – State and private medical centers and services for children and pregnant women, healthy nutrition and vitamins, hygienic products and medical equipment for home-use, orthopedics, rehabilitation and health centers for children, health insurance programs. 

“ST.PETERSBURG – A CHILD-FRIENDLY CITY” – exposition, organized by the City’s authorities in the framework of UNICEF global initiative “Child-Friendly cities”. The project will demonstrate State programs, aimed at supporting families with children, and different educational, sport and entertainment facilities, available for the young citizens of St. Petersburg.

Business program events will be focused on the problems of children-friendly environment, essential for the successful development of every child.  Seminars and round-table discussions will gather State authorities, field specialists, public associations, business community and parents.

Entertaining program for city citizens will consist of several interesting event:
“Future moms’ day” will be traditionally organized for all pregnant women of St. Petersburg. They will be offered various contests, consultations and numerous promo-presents from manufacturers and distributor of goods and services for the pregnant and newborns.
“Miss Childhood Planet” Beauty Contest will gather young ladies aged 6-14 years. The girls will demonstrate their singing and dancing talents and take part in the children’s fashion show.
Besides, children and parents will be able to attend interesting arts and crafts workshops and have fun at the large trampolines, installed inside the exhibition pavilion.
